On Mother's Day, my dad and I took my mom to the Short North. It is a cute, hipster area in Downtown Columbus. Here are a few places we went into. Go discover Ohio for yourself!

Red Giraffe Designs was a vintage-inspired shop that primarily had jewelry. Each item had unique details. Check them out!

Glean is a family-owned shop that has a wide variety of items. They had clothes, candles, and other cool knick-knacks. If you are looking for Ohio, Buckeye, or any other Ohio memorabilia, then you should look at Glean!

Tigertree is truly a store that has (almost) everything. The first things you see when entering the store are books and games. They have water bottles, gift bags, watches, clothes; you name it. They also have a separate children's store called Cubshrub.

Trying to find clothes or toys for your pet? Look no further! Emi Pet Salon and Boutique probably has what you're looking for. They not only have cute clothes you're pet will like; but they also have treats like grain-free cheesecake and cakes that are safe for dogs. So, take a weekend trip with your pet and shop away!

My mom and I were so excited when we came across Anthropologie. We have heard of it, but we have never gone into an actual store. It did not disappoint. The displays (as seen to the left) were impressive. They sell clothes, makeup, and household items. You can find them in-store or online!

The last place we went to was a Southern comfort food restaurant called The Eagle. We dined on fried chicken, collard greens, mac & cheese, biscuits, sweet potato marshmallow casserole, and ginger beer. It was a place I would definitely recommend. What are you waiting for? Go get some good Southern food!
The Short North is a great place to go on a warm weekend. Walk around, peak inside some stores. Go discover your town.
