Tech-Style: Pros and Cons of a Chromebook

My experience with computers always ends in a disappointing conclusion. My last computer was a Windows laptop and it would turn on and work, and then shut itself off in about 10 minutes. After using my sister's old computer for a while (which also decided to turn off, but didn't turn back on), I decided it was time to buy a new computer. However, I didn't want to buy a new new computer. I check Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. But nothing was in my price range and all the computers had terrible ratings. So, I went to my next best option: Amazon. My mom was not happy or comfortable with the idea of buying a computer off of an online store. But, I was confident in the purchase, as I have bought many things off of Amazon. I found an Acer Chromebook on sale for $136. To solidify my decision, it had a 4 star rating. So for those of you who are considering buying a Chromebook for their next computer, here are some pros and cons.
Pro
The price is great, which is pretty self-explanatory
Con
Chromebooks do not have Windows. This could be bad for some people who really depend on Microsoft products like Word or Excel. However, you can download the Word app on the Play Store. Or you can use the product that is given on the computer: Google Docs and other forms of Google.
Pro
The battery is ridiculously long. I think I have had to charge my computer about four times since getting it. The battery is 12 hours long, but it feels much more than that
Con
Chromebooks do not have the capability to offer Adobe products. Because there is no IOS on Chromebooks, they cannot have Creative Cloud products. However, just as in Con 1, there are substitutes on the Play Store given by Adobe to help those with Android products (which can be used on these computers)
Pro
It has a nice design and it's size is comparable to that of an Macbook. The one thing I wish it could do is light up the keyboard, but my Chromebook is a great size and it's easy to use.
Con
There is not delete button??? I'm someone who uses the delete button habitually. Not having it there is very annoying and sometimes confusing. It brings down my typing time because I have to go backspace things instead of deleting and moving on.
Pro
The sound is amazing. My old computer's sound sucked so bad that my phone volume was louder. But, this has speakers on both sides and it can be heard by most people in my house when it is on full volume.
