Happy Labor Day to all of you who are workers or students! It feels like it has been a long time since I have "talked" with you. But, with school back in session, things have been moving pretty fast. I thought that I would give you a look into my first week!

Monday:

WAKE UP

I started the morning with oatmeal and a banana

Video & Audio Fundamentals. This class starts off with the first 5 weeks focusing on Audio and then transitions into video. I am very excited about this class because it is my first class

RELAX & do online homework

Introduction to Human Communication. I love my professor for this class. However, I am a little worried because this class is primarily a public speaking class and I hate public speaking.

Sister Circle. This is a club that encourages women to come together and talk about certain subjects chosen for specific weeks. i think I'm going to like being a part of it.

Tuesday

Breakfast with Sophia

Music as a World Phenomenon. This is by far my most boring class. The material is somewhat interesting, but the professor doesn't make it exciting or seem interesting. I thought I would like the class because I love taking music classes, but I was wrong.

Speed walk to my next class

Media, Power, & Culture. I am very interested in this class because we talk about current issues going on in the world. At the same time, we also learn about the processes behind the media industry.

try to find something to eat at the student center. I came up unsuccessful because everyone was in line to get food from the new Mexican restaurant and commuter hours had just ended.

meet with my manager for work to get my uniform and a tour of the facilities.

Writing for Video and Audio. This might be my favorite class. I have always loved writing and this class will hopefully show me how to do that in a more professional manner.

Wednesday

Video & Audio Fundamentals

Video & Audio Fundamentals Lab. This class is very interesting. We jumped right into editing audio on the first day.

walk back to dorm and talk to Alexis on the phone for an hour

Writing for Video and Audio

Go to Rosie's with Sophia then back to her dorm

Go out with Sophia and Mason. We had a really fun night. This was extremely spontaneous. We wanted to do something and somehow ended up going out.

Friday

No Class!

Relax and Do homework
