Styling One Item Three Different Ways

During my last few weeks of school, I decided to do a fashion challenge. I used my stripped dress and put myself to the test! Take a look and see how I did it.

The first outfit was very basic and easy to do. I wore the dress with an over-sized green jacket. I paired this with Nike sneakers for comfort and to dress down the outfit.
Dress: Old Navy
Shoes: Nike
Jacket: Abercrombie and Fitch (thrifted at Goodwill)

This next outfit was by far my favorite. I felt like I was ready for summer (even though it was about 50 degrees outside). It was, however, very difficult to fit the dress into the overalls. So if you plan on recreating this look, you might want to take that into consideration and find a look-alike shirt instead of using the dress. In any case, this is a great look for the summer and spring seasons.
Overalls: H&M
Shoes: Target

The final look made the dress look like a normal T-shirt. I did have some gaping problems with the dress being too bulky for the pants. However, it did make a very cute outfit once I got that problem under control. I decided to wear ripped jeans so the outfit didn't look to simple.
Jeans: Marshalls
Hopefully these looks give you the inspiration to reduce your shopping, and reuse the beautiful items you already own! Not only will it help your bank account, but it will help you to actually use the things you own and not just wear them once. Until next time,
Be Uniquely You,
